Configuring Your Email Client to Send and Receive Email
All email clients require the same basic input to send and receive email. You will need to know:
- Your username and password for your ISP (You may have more than one mailbox/ username.)
- E-mail address: username@ISPname.net (com or edu) (smith@comcast.com)
- Incoming mail server name: mail.ISPname.net (com or edu)
- Outgoing mail server name: smtp*.ISPname.net (com or edu) (*this varies)
- Your ISP's email type: POP or IMAP Hosting Provider List
- Your ISP's incoming and outgoing mailserver name. Mail Server List

You can use the automatic method or configure the data manually.
